March 5 (Bloomberg) -- Impala Platinum (JSE:IMP) Holdings Ltd. said it’s in the process of restarting production at its Rustenburg operation, the world’s biggest platinum mine, in South Africa after more than a five-week stoppage caused by a pay dispute.
“We’re in the process of normalizing operations again,” Johan Theron, a spokesman for the Johannesburg-based company said by phone today. “People are busy going underground.” Impala will release production-loss details when it issues its quarter output statement later, he said.
