Do you actually need them?

JOHANNESBURG-You're in a store pushing your trolley while ticking things off your list. You're also juggling this with trying to remember that thing you said you'd add to the list last night but forgot to. This is also while figuring out where the aisle that has the next item you need is. As if that's not enough, an overzealous shop assistant springs up on you and presents you with a card that could "make your life easier." This he says will mostly be by earning you loads of points which can be converted into vouchers after they've exceeded a certain number. To get started, all you need to do is to sign up for the card. Should you or shouldn't you, especially when you already have ten other rewards cards from other stores?

Well it seems a lot of stores have gone rewards club crazy. But who can blame them? Everybody loves free things, or at least the idea of thinking they will be getting free things.
