Cheryl van Rooyen is a designated holistic CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional. She has been accredited with the FSB as a “Fit and Proper” intermediary to advise on and sell a wide range of insurance and investment products with the various insurance and investment companies. In addition, she is accredited with the Financial Planning Institute and has 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She has been practising as a Financial Planner for the last 20 years.

Cheryl has appeared on radio shows (702 and Cape Talk – “A word on Personal Finance” hosted by Paul Roelofse and Lee Benning) as a guest speaker, as well as on kykNET’s TV show “Ontbytsake” as Dawie Roodt’s guest. She was invited to educate the public, providing financial advice. Cheryl, in association with My Players, is currently the preferred Financial Wellness Coach for professional rugby players of the Golden Lions Rugby Union (GLRU).

Cheryl may provide advice on the following financial services: Assurance Risk Assessment, Business Assurance, Estate Planning & Trusts, Financial Planning (inclusive of Investments and Unit Trusts), Health Insurance, and Post- and Pre-Retirement Planning. Cheryl has no shareholding in any one particular insurance company or product supplier she represents. Cheryl joined the Efficient Group during January 2011.
