RMB Ventures is increasingly finding traction in the ‘replacement capital’ transaction space. It provides the structure that enables one or more minority shareholders to exit an investment, leaving the other shareholders in place. These are not run-of-the-mill transactions and typically come with greater risk, but if executed properly and managed appropriately through the investment lifecycle, they can and should yield higher returns.
