Why in God’s name would we want an ETF when we can trade directly with LUNO, VALR? AT 0.1% fees on purchases only? Sales are free…

Makes no sense unless you are driving fees for EC10.

The only reason I bought EC10 on Easyequities was to wait for the 5 day deadline to transfer money to LUNO.

Keeping your BTC on an exchange wallet like Luno, VALR, etc. is also risky. You need to secure your BTC in a wallet for which you control the private key.

An ETF is ideal for people who want to invest using a traditional investment account, but who may not necessarily have the skills to secure their own coins. Think of your dad / grandpa…

Imagine the costs of insurance against the loss of a wallet key or being hacked.

I suppose stupid ideas need a stage as well so that people can realise that they are stupid.

I like to learn from others’ mistakes.

The best time to buy crypto was years ago. The worst time is now.

There will never be a best time to buy anything. Keep your investment proportional to your understanding of the tech.

Buy the top is probably the worst strategy though…..

People thought $5000 was the top in 2017 too… Better to average in over time though.

End of comments.
