JSE CEO Newton-King defends criticisms

Says the value of a company is not determined by the exchange.

Sygnia CEO Magda Wierzycka was vocal about shortcomings of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange on Friday during an interview on the Classic Business Breakfast with Moneyweb. Wierzycka accused the JSE of ignoring duties to investors by giving the green light to questionable listings like Sagarmatha and Oakbay.
