Improving South Africa’s talent competitiveness

South Africa ranks 63rd on the global talent competitiveness index.

If South Africa is to deliver on targets set at the Jobs Summit, human capital will have to be developed. There are however many gaps within the development of skills in the country. The HR Think Tank based at Stellenbosch University aims to improve South Africa’s talent competitiveness. The organisation says it boils down to a better relationship between business and labour.
