Stronger gold price, Tencent gives Alsi a 1.41% boost

Spiking gold price picked up local gold mining, commodity counter while a stronger Tencent also pushed industrials counters up.

They unpack the factors that contributed to a stronger Alsi, as well as what played out on the international front. This included the brewing expectation that the US Federal Reserve might soon cut rates, which contributed to the gold spike.
