The South African Citizen Satisfaction Index conducted by Consulta shows that citizen satisfaction and trust in municipal service delivery is at its lowest level since the index’s start in 2014. The index scores out of 100 points and Cape Town continues to take the lead at 64.1 points. Buffalo City and Mangaung scored in the low 40s. Some 108 000 millionaires decided to emigrate to other countries in 2018. Apparently, this is a 14% jump on the previous year and more than double the movement seen in 2013. It seems the top countries that are appealing to fleeing millionaires include Australia, the US and Canada, although there are other attractive destinations as well.
