TymeBank hopes to improve financial inclusion in SA

The bank claims its highest cost of service is R8.

The country’s first fully-fledged digital bank TymeBank, which had its soft launch in November and since recruited 80 000 customers, formally launched its banking services on Tuesday. Sandile Shabalala, the CEO of TymeBank and Cheslyn Jacobs, head of Sales & Service at African Rainbow Capital, which is the bank’s biggest investor, join Nompu Siziba in studio to explain how the model is all about financial inclusion.
