The SARB must accept responsibility for this mess of a bank , which was granted a banking licence , with developmental managers in charge . To expose the public to such a fraudulent bank , is simply not affordable for a thirld world economy such as SA . Our history clearly shows nearly all small banks fail eventually , largely due to a lack of skills , mismanagement and a lack of oversight by the SARB . Again an example of political correctness , being regarded as more important than common sense and a sense of reality .With no track record of successful management of a bank , how can a licence be granted to a group of business men . This will no doubt happen again , with the very poor people , such as rate payers in the municipalities in this case , being left to suffer .
