For many South African investors, the idea of investing offshore is considered far more attractive than local markets.

Technology giants like Amazon, Facebook, Alphabet and SoftBank have all proven popular with investors seeking access to high growth markets while international banking groups appear to be offering a lower risk premium than South African counterparts facing political pressure.

How do you get started in offshore shares? What options are there in the global markets?

Moneyweb has teamed up with leading technical analyst Garth Mackenzie from Traders Corner and IG Markets South Africa to put together an education and information series which will launch shortly on MoneywebTV. Garth will bring high quality technical analysis to viewers seeking to understand the international market place.
