Work resumes on Kusile power station

After fatality.

JOHANNESBURG – South Africa’s state-owned energy utility Eskom said on Wednesday that work has resumed at a power station where a crane collapsed on Monday killing one person.

“We resumed work this morning at Kusile power station after a safety inspection on Tuesday,” Eskom spokesman Khulu Phasiwe told Reuters.

The utility had halted work at the entire plant on Monday following the incident, but started building on Tuesday in areas not affected by the collapse.
