Bidvest proposes unbundling of the Foodservice Business

Further to Bidvest’s announcement in October that it was in the process of formalising a restructure of its business operations, it has now announced the intention to unbundle and separately list on the JSE the foodservice operations.


Schroder European Real Estate Investment Trust share placing

The company has successfully issued 13,284,686 new shares at 104 pence per share to raise £13,8 million.


Central Rand Gold share placing

The company has successfully placed 14,279,371 new shares at 3.5 pence per share to raise £1,22 million.


Results of Prescient’s dividend reinvestment alternative

Shareholders holding 3.91% of Prescient’s shares elected the Capitalisation Distribution resulting in the issue of 1,789,857 new ordinary shares.


Listing of additional Satrix 40 securities

Satrix 40 issued and listed an additional 2 million securities on February 9 at an issue price of R43.89 per security.


Northam Platinum Bond

The company has entered into a subscription agreement with the Industrial Development Corporation of SA in terms of which the IDC has agreed to subscribe for new domestic medium term notes in an amount of R250m.


Foreign Listing

Astoria Investments has received approval from the Namibian Stock Exchange to list 126,809,944 shares by way of a secondary listing on the NSX with effect from February 10.


Listing on the JSE

Gold Brands Investments will list on the JSE today, with 110,000,000 trading on AltX.
