RECM and Calibre to underwrite DAWN Rights Offer
RAC will underwrite the DAWN rights offer up to a maximum value of R201 million at a price of R1 per share resulting in a potential subscription by RAC for a 33.9% shareholding in DAWN.
Transaction Capital – results of accelerated bookbuild
The company has successful raised R418.9 million through an accelerated bookbuild process issuing 28 400 000 new shares at a R14.75 per share.
Sea Harvest to list on the JSE
Brimstone subsidiary Sea Harvest plans to list on the main board of the JSE in March 2017 under the Food and Beverage sector. The company envisages a capital raise of up to R1.5 billion prior to listing.

Ecsponent has, under its R5 billion preference share programme, issued additional preference shares valued at R17 million.

Satrix to list two new portfolio participatory interests
Satrix Collective Investment Scheme is to list two new portfolios on the JSE on February 24. Satrix ILBI will provide exposure to the S&P South African Sovereign Inflation-Linked Bond 1+ Year Index while the Satrix Property Portfolio will provide exposure to a modifies capitalisation variation of the S&P South African Composite Property Index.
Delisting of Gooderson Leisure
The company delisted on February 7 following the successful acquisition by ALJU Family Trust of the remaining shares held by minority shareholders.

1 500 000 additional Sari’ah ETF securities were listed on February 8 at an issue price of R3.18 per security. After listing, there will be 23 575 446 securities in issue.
