Correction: Trifecta Capital not linked to Trifecta Holdings

Moneyweb apologises for the error.

On January 11, Moneyweb published an article under the heading: Is your business to pay up for Consumer Goods & Services Ombud?

The article referred to the appointment of Trifecta Capital to collect levies on behalf of the newly-established Consumer Goods & Services Ombud.

Trifecta Capital has since confirmed that it has been appointed by the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud to create a database and sign up new members, but clarified that Trifecta Capital, Trifecta Capital Collections (Pty) Ltd, or Trifecta Capital Services (Pty) Ltd, is not in any way linked to Trifecta Holdings or the Trifecta Group of the Northern Cape.

Trifecta Capital delivers outsourcing and technology services to private and public sector clients around the globe.

Moneyweb apologises for the error and for not checking beyond the information given by the call centre. We also regret any inconvenience it may have caused Trifecta Capital, Trifecta Capital Collections (Pty) Ltd or Trifecta Capital Services(Pty) Ltd.

In the May issue of The Moneyweb Investor, we take a closer look to see which companies are likely to thrive and which will not, in the post-downgrade world.
