Eskom has announced that it will implement Stage 2 load shedding from 16:00 on Tuesday to 05:00 on Wednesday, due to added constraints after the generation unit at Kusile Power Station tripped.

The power utility says a unit each at Matimba and Arnot power stations failed to return to service as it had previously anticipated.

In addition, it expects these constraints to persist for the rest of the week which may require extending load shedding.

“We are currently utilising emergency generation reserves extensively to supplement supply,” it said in a statement.

Eskom says the total breakdowns currently amount to 17 933MW while planned maintenance is 3 451MW of capacity.

Most revealing how they waited until the voting closed to recommence load shedding. Same with massive petrol price increase: announced at 21:00 last night (Monday)!!

Acc to the AA the DMRE, the department of mineral resources and energy had taken the final decision on price hikes already on Thursday. But delayed announcing till 20h45 last night.
It is a perfect sunny day this part of the country, unfortunately I don’t have a rooftop solar setup.

Options: 1) the problem created from the Zuma eara is so enormous that de ruyter just can’t fix it. 2) de ruyter is not capable to do the job. 3) the agenda de ruyter’s employer wants him to implement is what we are see now?

As the British would say:

“Proceed as you were, Eskom…”
or
“Carry on as you were…”

The winning vote goes to: (A)bsolutely (N)o (C)urrent.
Did it made a difference?
Nope!
“Please continue to complain about the lack of service delivery”. More of the same then.

As predicted on Friday when the clowns started burning diesel that they cannot afford to prop up the elections that they do not deserve to win

here we go again… as the ancient old saying go.. “I told you!!! “… I just not grasp it!!!.. .. all the 66 million together.. .. less the 2 million in Gov jobs & side guzzlers = 64 million = so very gullable to believe voting will change our fellow country partners… what more?? ❓

Then what happens after 05h00 tomorrow?

(…then a new announcement about the duration of the next LS occurrence)

What ZUMA was actually trying to say a day ago: “SA will have load-shedding until the Man that left the earth, returns again”.

End of comments.
