Don’t like the sound of ‘command council’ especially when it is not equipped with the most competent.

I have great difficulty accepting the figures published by the Department.
Here’s my concerns:-
International the positives are at about 4% of total tested
In SA per 30/3 38409 person were tested with 1326 infected (3.45%); per 31/3 41072 tested with 1353 infected (3.29%)In the European community most people live in houses and can self isolate or can get significantly better diagnostics and treatment than in RSA – we have a housing and a clustering problem and as such the virus should be more virulent – yet government reporting seems to indicate that the country is well ahead of the curve in terms of containing the virus. In Europe some countries are testing close to 10,000 people per day – we managed 2663 tests. Somewhere along the line between assimilating the data and the reporting of tests/infections there is a statistical mismatch — or do we have an exceptional health department???
