Policy uncertainty key deterrent to SA’s investment, growth

Ramaphosa has made progress – World Bank.

World Bank country director for South Africa, Paul Noumba Um says president Cyril Ramaphosa has made good progress with addressing policy uncertainty that has been a stumbling block to investment in the country and therefore economic growth.

Noumba Um addressed a media briefing hosted by the National Press Club in Johannesburg on Tuesday.

And people have been saying this for how long? This is what frustrates me, issues don’t advance.

To me its more like Policy certainty !!
We will eventually Nationalise the Res Bank , we will implement land redistribution, we will continue with corruption, we will continue with BEE etc etc.
There is Policy certainty : Its just Clueless poicies !!!

It is not policy uncertainty that has been the key deterrent to South Africa’s investment and growth, but while that is part of it, the seriousness of it is the dishonesty and the way money vanishes that makes foreign investors shy away from SA. Our tedious and slow judicial system and our labour laws also have scared people away.

nonsense Paul, Ramaphosa blatantly lied at Davos. What he is telling there is not what the ANC’s recent manifesto states.
