South Africa’s National Coronavirus Command Council will meet on July 11 to assess the country’s response to the pandemic and whether current restrictions aimed at curbing its spread are appropriate.

The meeting comes two weeks after President Cyril Ramaphosa placed the country on virus alert level 4, shutting schools and banning alcohol sales and all public gathering other than funerals.

Well if they don’t stop the ongoing “protests” just open everything and each to his own.

anc and eff.

The whole thing is just a farce.

After the death of JHB mayor the chances are 0 en $@kk@1! for restrictions to be lifted!!

Don’t waste time man.

Get a handle on these zuma backward retard supporters!! They doing more damage than the pandemic and the anc put together.

Only one way out of this anc mess. SA needs a government of national unity. Opposition party leaders need to start talking about it right now and mobilize. Forget about your own little agenda’s.

Get on with it. SAn’s are sick and tired of being held hostage by these …… (please fill in something “nice”) SAn’s are in fact sick and tired of politics in general. Its tribal crap at the moment.

These things need to be removed from society as a matter of urgency and for a long time. Make examples.

And zuma’s family stoking the fires??? Just leave them be??

Useless …………….s

The seasonal flu appears to have disappeared. My cousin has been diagnosed with double pneumonia consequential to an ongoing fight against a superbug that was obtained during a previous (pre Covid) hospital admission. The hospital accepts no responsibility, of course. The obligitory PCR test was positive but then the kidneys became dysfunctional and dialysis undertaken. There are no symptoms of Covid. That test result is just a distraction from the real issues involved here. By diagnosing and treating according to the symptoms and established clinical practice the patient is better served than by the untested and unsuccesful Covid distraction. Fortunately the supervising doctor is a moral and professional giant amongst his play putty peers.

Their command of the virus is about as good as their command of the protestors at Mooirivier !!

Only one way ahead.

1.) State of emergency.
2.) government of national unity.
3.) UN peacekeepers in the form of UNTAG deployed countrywide.
4.) SADC to immediately get involved as this instability is a concern.
5.) More experienced countries must take charge of the SA situation like Mozambique, DRC, Somalia and out of the North maybe Libya. Even Angola.

This whole democracy thing has failed and its time to act decisively.

End of comments.
