Any website URL for information or warnings about reported adverse reactions? Now there is the warning about Pfizer not recommended for those with diabetes. Are the health authorities in SA going to ensure that this warning and/or any other such feedback is shared with each and every volunteer for the 3rd stage of vaccine testing? A duty to ensure informed consent exists and it is surely morally wrong not to do this. The consent forms should provide prior and relevant information and then obtain signatures on the consent form. Persons with co-morbidity should be approved for vaccination by a qualified medical practitioner. Without full and proper attention to this issue there is a situation of recklessly herding susceptible people into severe impact and even their death. Volunteers also need to know that they will be at their own risk for any severe reaction and will not receive any automatic compensation or legal assistance.
