Ngoni Gwatidzo
Ngoni's investment management experience spans over 30 years having started his career at Old Mutual Zimbabwe in 1980 as Investment Manager. In 1992 he immigrated to South Africa and worked as Portfolio Manager for Fedsure Asset Managers and subsequently the Women's Investment Portfolio Asset Managers. In 1999 Ngoni joined NBC Holdings, the second largest benefit consulting and administration firm in South Africa as director of the Investments Division. He was responsible for the provision of investment advice to institutional client portfolios worth R20 billion until 2003. After a two year stint as Portfolio Manager for retail clients with Analytics Multi Manager he established Gatzo Independent Investment Advisors (Pty) Limited in 2006. Ngoni holds a B.Sc.(Economics) degree and an MBA from Wits Business School. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

The Weaver BCI Moderate Fund of Funds aims to achieve moderate capital growth in the medium to long-term combined with a reasonable level of income. The portfolio is managed in compliance with prudential investment guidelines for retirement funds in South Africa to the extent allowed for by the Act. The portfolio's net equity exposure ranges between 0% and 60% of the portfolio's net asset value. Investments to be included in the portfolio will, apart from assets in liquid form, consist of participatory interests and other forms of participation of local and global collective investment schemes, or other similar schemes operated in territories with a regulatory environment which is to the satisfaction of the manager and trustee of a sufficient standard to provide investor protection at least equivalent to that in South Africa. The investments will be consistent with the portfolio's primary objective, investing in equity securities, property and property related securities, non-equity securities, money market instruments financial instruments, bonds and other interest-bearing instruments and securities.
To the extent that the assets in the portfolio are exposed to exchange rate risk, the manager may enter into financial transactions for the exclusive purpose of hedging such exchange rate risk subject to the conditions and limits as stipulated by the Act. The Trustee shall ensure that the investment policy set out in this Supplemental Deed is carried out. For the purpose of this portfolio, the manager shall reserve the right to close the portfolio to new investors on a date determined by the manager. This will be done in order to be able to manage the portfolio in accordance with its mandate. The manager may, once a portfolio has been closed, open that portfolio again to new investors on a date determined by the manager.
